Do you like to travel?

One way to see the world is through art! Auction previews are a special place to see artwork from around the world and from different times in history. This tour is to engage students in close looking, inquiry-based experiences that support their critical and creative thinking skills as they develop their own interpretations about works of art in an auction house.

Students will be guided to an auction house and learn with a specialist to look at Contemporary art, followed by a mock-auction to understand the workings of buying art through an auction house.

This workshop is part of Asia Art Hong Kong's community outreach programme, in collaboration with Picasso Creative Arts Gallery.

Student Scholarship*
For every participant, proceeds go towards a scholarship fund that supports students from underprivileged backgrounds to join the “Little Collectors” Auction House Experience.

Tour will be conducted in English and Cantonese.
