The exhibition title originates from “The Dharma Bums” by novelist Jack Kerouac. The graduates wish to remind themselves to never go astray, both in their pursuit of art and journey in life. The way ahead is long, yet high and low, they will search with their wills unbending.

The show also entails the graduates’ reminiscence about and contemplation of their four years of studies in university during which they confronted adversity and explored the values of art.

The Art of CUHK 2018 stages four exhibitions annually, namely the BA Graduate Exhibition, Annual Exhibition, MFA Graduate exhibition, MFA Year 1 Exhibition and MAFA Exhibition.
