Hong Kong's Fine Art Asia to expand to Taipei in April 2020

At a press conference held in Taipei last week, Andy Hei, art director of Fine Art Asia and Ink Asia announced plans to debut the fair in Taiwan in 2020. The expansion will be in collaboration with Chang's Oriental Art Gallery, a long-time exhibitor at the art fair. Held in Taipei's Huashan 1914 Creative Park, the fair is expected to open in April with 50 galleries, attracting exhibitors internationally as well as from local circles.

Founded in 2006, Fine Art Asia has since become Hong Kong's preeminent art fair coinciding with the start of the fall auction season. The fair features fine art from Asian and Western traditions. 2018 saw two fairs, Fine Art Asia and Ink Asia, a fair for contemporary ink art, showcased together for the first time in an exhibition space of over 10,000 sq meter. This year, Fine Art Asia will welcome Masterpiece London in a pavilion that will highlight 25 exhibitors from the London-based fair.

Fine Art Asia 2019 will be held 4-7 October at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre this October. Visit
