New SQ A380 Suites: Your Own "Comfort Zone"

Singapore Airlines’ (SQ) new A380 cabin products reached new heights of inflight comfort, as revealed in a three-day product showcase last month as part of the celebration to mark the Airlines’ 60th year in Hong Kong.

Underpinned by the theme “Space made personal, experience the difference”, the new A380 livery has significantly smaller premium cabins, with six first class Suites - half of what it used to be - hence greater privacy and more personal service.

Situated in the front cabin of the upper deck, the Suite Class offers immediate exclusivity upon boarding the A380. Each exquisitely assembled Suite is equipped with a separate lie-flat bed and cosy leather recliner, designed for guests to lounge in the recliner and rest in bed without having to convert it from a sitting position. The beds in the first two Suites of either side can also be turned into a double bed. Sleep tight in Lalique sleeper suit and 100% combed cotton duvet designed by Lalique for SQ.

The Suite seats are clad with Poltrona Frau fine leather, and fully adjustable with various sitting and lounging positions. They can swivel between 135 and 270 degrees with recline up to 45 degrees to suit different purposes, like dining and relaxation.

First-class guests can also indulge themselves with the wide selection of KrisWorld entertainment on a 32-inch full HD monitor. By logging on their KrisFlyer account, guests can save their favourite playlist for future flights.

Plenty of stowage is offered with the ensuite wardrobe, leather padded handbag compartment and an amenity box. The stylish furniture is accompanied with carpet soft as lawn and a mood lighting wall with five scenes. Guests enjoy enormous flexibility over lighting as they could finetune the 10 light sources as they like - don’t forget to save your lighting preferences on your KrisFlyer profile too.

The two sleekly designed lavatories are furnished with Lalique toiletries, one of which even comes with a sit-down vanity area!

The new cabin products will be initially fitted to the five new A380s, and later be retrofitted to the 14 aircraft that are currently in service. The daily SQ861/856 (Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Hong Kong) will operate with the new A380 from 1 May 2018 onwards.
