PERFORMANCE
KOREAN TRADITIONAL DANCE : 舞(무) : ë‡ë‹¤ (“mu(dance): mutda”)
This performance showcases the beauty of Korean traditional dance. 舞(무) (pronounced as “mu”) means “dance”. “ë‡ë‹¤” (as “mutda”) is a Korean word that has a meaning of “making a harmonized combination by putting together smaller objects.
“舞(무):ë‡ë‹¤(mu: mutda)” is the first of the series on “Transmission and Creation”, introducing six stages of traditional dances. Each has its own distinctive colour, feature and characteristic, but all combined serve the fundamentals of Korean traditional dance throughout the history.
